Rune Saraksen

I am an educational manager and subject manager at Adcuro and am passionate about my profession. I am a qualified special education teacher and have 30 years of extensive experience in child welfare and care services/schools from the private and public sectors. Svein-Erik Myrbakken

IT, web, environmental/health worker/Partner

I have a versatile and broad background from several industries, the magazine publisher Hjemmet Mortensen, the TV production company Rubicon TV and Nordisk film, and now with more than 11 years of experience in the health and care industry in Stendi AS and Nordre Follo Municipality. In addition, I work as a self-employed person in child welfare and with youth 1:1 placed in companies. Working with youth gives me a glow, strength and a belief that alternative education arena with individually tailored education actually works.

Seeing young people in a safe and adapted arena where they experience mastery, build motivation, self-confidence and develop skills makes everyday life extra enjoyable for both me and the young people.

Arne Gundersen

I have a bachelor's degree in social care and with more than 10 years in the industry, I enjoy my job very much and have not regretted my career path or choice of profession for a single day.

With competence, commitment and warmth, I create safe relationships and arenas where young people can experience mastery, development and believe in their own possibilities.

Laila Ringstad

Sociologist

I am a trained social worker and have worked in child welfare for more than 20 years and completed further education as a teacher.

What makes my job so meaningful is seeing the development of young people who may have had a difficult start in life. When a young person who has previously struggled to find their place gradually begins to believe in themselves, make their own choices and master everyday life – then I really feel that our work matters.

The best thing is to see that, time and time again, they take new steps towards becoming independent. They may be small steps that others may not notice, but for us they can mean an incredible amount.

Being able to be a safe person on the side of the youth, cheering, supporting, making demands and at the same time having faith in them when they may not have faith in themselves, is a great privilege.

Hanna Hansen

I am a qualified teacher and have worked in secondary schools since 2011.

There are few things more beautiful than seeing a young person who once needed a lot of help stand firmly on their own two feet and feel: "I can do this myself."

That's when I know why I do this job.
